Teaser Pick for NFL Week 4 on Sunday 9/28/2025

There’s a reason – mostly injuries – to pass on every game I would otherwise like on Sunday. The Buccaneers lost Mike Evans for a handful of games, the Giants are starting a new quarterback so I feel like that’s an X factor I don’t want to mess with if I took the Chargers, Green Bay is banged up as far as I know, and buying down the 49ers -3.5 is a ton of “juice.” I thought about parlaying the 49ers -3 with the Rams, also buying them down to -3, but the Rams are facing the 3-0 Colts.

Last week, I went 2-3 for a whopping -$10 with my NFL picks. And, in the wee hours of Sunday morning in Week 4, my only NFL pick is a Bills and Lions teaser. Here it is:

Bills -9 (-245) vs. Saints

Lions -4 (-278) vs. Browns

This is a 6-point teaser for $20 to win $18.35 at -110 odds.

I don’t generally like giving more than 7 points in the NFL, and Cleveland did beat the Packers last week, shutting them down with their defense. But I still think that was due to injuries Green Bay. I think the Bills and Lions will put up a lot of points against these weaker teams, especially being at home.

If you think this is a kind of weak post for NFL picks, I will not disagree. But I don’t want to force anything.
