Four College Football Picks for Saturday 10/4/2025
I’m on a 5-0 run for +$228.95 in college football over the last two weeks. I detailed my record for all of my picks in September earlier in the week. After going big last week, I have to rein things in just a bit. I don’t love anything in college football this week quite as much as I did last week. Here are my picks for Saturday:
Alabama -11 (-112) vs. Vanderbilt for $50 to win $45Georgia -20.5 (-115) vs. Kentucky for $25 to win $21.75
Notre Dame -20.5 (-115) vs. Boise State for $20 to win
$17.40
Penn State -24 (-110) at UCLA for $20 to win $18.20
Basically, I “went back to the well” with Alabama for my biggest
pick of the day. I didn’t go as big as I did last week with them, because Vandy
did beat South Carolina on the road, but the Gamecocks lost the following week
to Missouri and now they aren’t in the Top 25. I’m not sure the Commodores have
really played another really good team, and I think the Tide might just roll Vanderbilt
at home. My logic with Georgia is similar. I liked what I saw from them despite
the loss to Alabama last week. Kentucky is 2-2, also losing to the Gamecocks
(like Vanderbilt) and Ole Miss. The Wildcats haven’t beaten a good team, and
Georgia will look to bury them at home to bounce back from last week. Notre
Dame and Penn State, I think, will do what they do – beat up on weak opponents
after falling out of the playoff picture and scream that they should still be
in.
I considered taking Miami and Ohio State as well, but I
wanted to focus on game’s I liked the most.
