Three NFL Picks for Sunday 10/19/2025

In a ridiculous effort to change my luck in the NFL, I decided to actually make these picks first, even though I will likely post them on the blog second after posting my college football picks. I was a rather boring 1-1 for -$2 in pro football last week. Looking back, I absolutely should have teased Pittsburgh and Denver. As my mom would say, another “shoulda and a coulda.” But, overall, it was my 4th straight week on the positive side of the ledger when college football is factored in at 2-1-1 for +42.50.

I ended up with a 6-pack of picks for the football weekend, at least as of Friday night. Here is the NFL half:

NFL football
Eagles -2 (-110) at Vikings for $25 to win $22.75

Patriots -6.5 (-118) at Titans for $25 to win $21.25

Packers -7 (-104) at Cardinals for $25 to win $24.25

These are conservative bets because I just haven’t been good in the NFL, as mentioned, and all three teams I took are on the road. I almost pulled the Eagles pick, but I read that the Vikings offensive line has injury problems and, even though that group was part of a win against Cleveland, I always think that is significant. Plus, Minnesota is playing Carson Wentz, who I just don’t think is great. And I have to think the Eagles can take advantage of those two situations. The Patriots looked damn good to me when I saw them against the Bills, and they’ve won 3 straight, albeit against two other weaker teams. And the Packers have run the ball pretty well the last two weeks, while the Cardinals are reeling with 4-straight losses.
